Missing Tabby, Beige, Orange, and White cat; suspicious circumstances. My partner's dad's girlfriend dropped them off secretly during a move. Cats thrown out; found two, but the orange one is missing. Was unsure of their whereabouts; emailed several areas. Haven't seen the cat or his family, a total batch of 8 cats. Even though I emailed, it wasn't until I called Danville Area Humane Society that I got information. I stated the name of the person who turned them in—his dad's girlfriend. The woman on the phone claimed to the humane society on Monday at 12 pm when they opened to pick them up. She confirmed that there were 8, but when I visited on December 4th, 2023, the lady upfront said they've never seen them. I think the cats are either dead or roaming the streets. Overall, a sad, manipulative situation causing confusion. Unsure if the cats were transferred away from the humane society or euthanized, as this specific location is known for killing animals too soon. The last time my boyfriend, his brother, and I saw them was on November 29, 2023. Need help locating all of them at this point. The cats were last around 703 Jefferson St in Danville Va 2454, but we’re taken to the Danville area humane society.
