Dakota is small for a Bernese, but still larger than a collie, weighing around 85 pounds. Her markings are typical of her breed. She has a small lump between her shoulder blades, and a pink spot on her nose from a good scrape she got a few years ago, when she tried to jump out of the back of my parked car. She’s also been struggling with hematomas in her ears, and we were doing weekly vet visits in the 6 weeks leading up to her disappearance.
She is loving and friendly, but can also be timid around loud noises and needs gentle voices.
She loves kids and has been an emotional support dog in an elementary school the last four years. My toddler and Dakota are best friends.
We are hoping someone picked her up and hasn’t had a chance to reach out to the info on her tags.
