PetAmberAlert.com® is committed to responsible outreach. We understand that some individuals prefer not to receive phone calls, and we respect your wishes.
About Our Calls
PetAmberAlert is a national DNC exempt organization. Under federal law, we are permitted to contact residents to alert them about lost pets in their neighborhood, even if they are registered on the National Do Not Call Registry, have unlisted numbers, or have blocked calls.
Our calls are made solely for the purpose of reuniting lost pets with their families — a community safety service. We do not make sales or marketing calls.
How Our Alerts Work
When a pet is reported missing in your area, you may receive a phone call from PetAmberAlert providing information about the lost pet, including:
- A description of the missing pet
- The area where the pet was last seen
- Contact information for the pet owner
These calls are made between 9am and 9pm in your local time zone, in compliance with FTC regulations.
Opt Out of Future Alerts
While we hope you understand the importance of these community alerts in helping lost pets find their way home, we respect your right to opt out of future calls.
To request removal from our calling list, please use one of the following methods:

- Your full name
- Your phone number(s) you wish to be removed
- Your street address

Call us at 1-877-875-7387 and request to be added to our internal Do Not Call list.
